PG TOPS Travel and Tours has a simple philosophy:
South Africa is awesome, and Cape Town is its crown jewel!
It is our mission to make the experience for each and every visitor something special. As such, our tour and hosting business rests on three core philosophies:
1. WELCOME TO MY LIFE: We are your hosts, not just your tour guide. We aim to exchange ideas, culture, information. We want to share with you what it’s like growing up and living in South Africa, the changes we have all gone through and the way we’re building something good going forward. Make yourself at home!
2. WE SPREAD THE GOOD NEWS: In a world of massive and sustained negativity, where poverty, inequality, ignorance and petty arrogance is all around us, we aim to be different. We accept the shortcomings of our society generally and the challenges our Apartheid history has left us with, but we are also enthusiastic and hopeful about the opportunities the Rainbow Nation offers. Let us show you what we’re talking about.
3. IT’S ABOUT HOW WELL I DO “NOT MY JOB”: If we can make your experience better in a small way that was not expected or planned, I would consider that a good day for PG TOPS. Cape Town is such an amazing place, our job of showing it off is generally easy. We want to give you more! Whether it be an early morning hike on Lions Head, a run on the promenade, a taste of some biltong, or maybe just lunch in a spot way off the tourist track – we’ll look for a chance to bring something special!
