PG TOPS OCTOBER
Rocktober!
Hi sports fans
October 2011 has just about come and gone. Let me articulate my thoughts on this momentous month in the form of a AAA ( appropriate and applicable acronyms) rating and approach:
W.H.A.T. (We Had Airport Transfers)
Airport transfers have taken off at PG TOPS. We go to Cape Town. To the burbs. To the Strand. Gits, one guy even wanted us to take him to Rocking the Daisies. Thanks to particularly A2B for all the business!
W.A.S.S.U.P. (Why are Spanish Speaking Unicorns pretty?)
Thanks to a nifty Google campaign, I was lucky to snare some lovely inbound Spanish speaking clients, from Madrid, Buenos Aires and Barcelona amongst others!
L.O.V.E. I.T. (Launch Of Very Entertaining Innovation Technique)
Ie the PG TOPS Free Lunch. The first person to get herself a free lunch was Pris Walker, who allowed me to film the Cowboy Cook (http://www.pgtops.com/blog/2011/10/13/pg-tops-free-lunch-club-submission-1/). Yes, if you tell me a joke that I deem good enough for long term storage and retrieval in my joke bank (plus I get to put it online), I WILL PAY FOR YOUR LUNCH.
H.E.L.P.E.R.S. (Hundred Elves Let Packing Excess Return Surprises)
Thanks to everyone who donated, packed, shopped, braaied, cooked or just pitched up for the Santa Shoebox Packing Party. We did our bit, packing 82 boxes for underprivileged kids this Christmas. The initiative reached over 70,000 boxes this year, proud to be part of it. Check it out on http://www.pgtops.com/blog/2011/10/25/santa-shoebox-packing-party/. Well done Yolanda for launching this initiative, hopefully we can make it an annual event and create even more smiles!
G.R.A.C.I.A.S. (Gee Really Amazing Clients Imply Actual Satisfaction)
A big thanks to Warrick, Clive, A2B, Kaylin, Werner and Lindsay, Shannon at Tusk, Muda at the Guide Institute, Marco Corrales, Barry and Luciana from Cape Turismo, Le Roux Viljoen, Hugo Vargas for your support. And to the team, including Tish, Tony, Melvyn and of course Yolanda. In times of peace, prepare for war…
November is the month I will take a breather to go watch my boy Chaz shake off the shackles of bachelorhood in sunny Bismarck, North Dakota. Yolanda will go for a jolly with the Earthstomper on the Garden Route, and in between, I plan to NOT watch the Springboks be beaten by a blind referee, refocus on some personal goals and enjoy the 5am starts on my bicycle in prep for the Tour de Langebaan… In between, of course, running AWESOME PRIVATE DAY TRIPS and TRANSFERS in Cape Town!
B.E. C.O.O.L. S.T.A.Y. I.N. S.C.H.O.O.L. (Bye everyone can our own lives stay tiptop and yummy if nothing sad can happen over original limits).
