Kruger & Sabi Sands Safaris

Fly-in Kruger Safari*

The 4-day Lion Sands Kruger safari package is perfect for honeymooners, families and corporate groups. The River Lodge, Tinga and Narina Lodges at Lion Sands would best suit families and corporate groups, with their picturesque views and large lookout decks, whilst Ivory Lodge is more suited to an intimate couples getaway.

Honeymooners will never want to leave the magical suites at Ivory Lodge in Lion Sands, with river facing rooms boasting private sundecks and plunge pools, amazingly attentive staff and an abundance of wildlife on your doorstep, on the Sands river.

With two game drive safaris per day and all meals included, there is no better way to experience paradise than with this luxurious, relaxing package.

Guests are collected by lodge staff at Skukuza Airport, or the lodge’s private airstrip, just 30-minutes from the lodge by car, after which the dream, luxury safari adventure begins. Days are filled with morning and evening game drives, full board meals, either in the restaurant or the boma, and access to the spa and health club facilities.

Alternate preferred lodge options: Sabi SabiSingita and Londolozi.

Fly-in Kruger Safari

Day 1
You will arrive at the game reserve on a charter flight. A lodge representative will meet you at the airport and drive you back to the lodge. Should you arrive in time, lunch will be served before setting out on an evening game drive, after which the lodge will serve up a decadent dinner.
Day 2
An early start will afford guests the opportunity to take part in the 06h00 game drive, before returning for a heart-warming breakfast. During the days, guests are invited to spend their time as they please before and after lunch, with the evening game drive departing at 16h00. After the game drive the safari dinner is served, before guests retire for the evening.
Day 3
Day three follows the same format as day two. All game drives are of course optional, however we recommend that you take part in as many as possible. However, on Day 3, you are transferred to the nearby Chalkley’s Treehouse for an unforgettable romantic night under the stars.
Day 4
You are collected for an early morning game drive at the treehouse. After the morning game drive and breakfast, plus time to freshen up, guests will depart at 11h00 for their return flight. By this point, everyone is well acquainted with the African bush and completely relaxed.

We also offer custom-designed combination safari packages, which typically combine any of the above safaris with one or more nights at a private game lodge in the adjacent Sabi Sand or Timbavati Game Reserves. A key difference between the Kruger Park and the Sabi Sand or Timbavati, is that in the Kruger Park all the vehicles have to stay on the roads (no off-road driving is allowed) while in the private game reserves off road driving is possible, which allows vehicles to get closer to the animals and often means better sightings of big cats like lions and leopards. The accommodation at these private lodges are also more luxurious.

In addition to our scheduled safaris and Kruger combo safaris, we can arrange greater Kruger walking safaris, safari packages at private game lodges, safaris which include one or more days along the scenic Panorama Route, Victoria Falls packages, Botswana safaris, Cape Town and Garden Route packages, malaria-free safaris, and more.
